Are there any actors or actresses left who don't smoke?



Guess she changed her mind from this interview.

Acting is a stressful job, especially if you're female and relying on a beanpole figure to rake in the dough. I'd be packing the death sticks, too.

I think she should try Skoal. The new Vanilla flavor is aromatic as hell & nothing's hotter than a girl with a chaw (except for a girl without one, of course).

I was just about to say what Queen M. said above. I think there are a lot of people who smoke (whether or not they work in Hollywood) who smoke to relieve stress. I've never been a smoker, nor wanted to be.

I think nicotine is considered a dietary supplement in Hollywood. You got to love that town. The chainsmoking vegetarian capitol of the world!

Great. I can just imagine Matilda walking around Cannes with a can of dip in one hand and Mountain Dew bottle full of chaw spit in the other. Utterly glamorous.

I agree about the stress..

Except the death sticks age you, and actresses suddenly become old looking and out of style..

When she's in her 30s with the cigg voice and lines on her face, she'll regret them...

Not surprising. Plenty of actresses out there who smoke that you wouldn't think would. Portman's one. Anna Paquin is another.

From my experience, pretty young things tend to smoke more than most people. Models, ingenues and the like are notorious chain-smokers for the reasons I mentioned earlier. For obvious reasons, singers (with the exception of Britney Spears) generally aren't habit smokers.

Elijah Wood says that he's on a 30 clove a day habit. For those not in the know, Cloves burn hotter than regular cigarettes and are worse for your lungs.

I he doesn't have lung cancer or emphazyma by the age of 35 I'll be shocked.

Cloves crystallize lung matter. That many in a day would seriously mess with his health.

I'm a smoker and I can barely stomach smoking an entire clove in one sitting. He is going to sound like James Gammon from "Cabin Boy" by age 30.

I don't think she started smoking until Episode II or III. The stress of making a Star Wars film under the white hot media light (so hot it can light up a sweet, sweet cigarette) after TPM was poorly recieved. Spending much of the day around Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor, notorious chain smokers.
