| The site also says that Lions Gate's August 10th release of Chopping Mall is aiming to be a 20th Anniversary Special Edition that will include interviews, a commentary track with Jim Wynorski and Steve Mitchell, and perhaps a still gallery or two. |
Imagine my surprise to see this posted considering back in early April when I was corresponding with Roger Corman's personal assistant regarding the advance review of Dinocroc I decided to ask her if she had any idea why Chopping Mall had never been released on DVD since his New Concorde owns the rights. She actually did follow up on this and told me this in the next email:

| I asked our post production supervisor about CHOPPING MALL, and she said that a DVD version has been out for some time... I've never seen a copy, that's for sure. |
Did my inquiry finally cause someone to take notice and realize that they had never released this movie on DVD? Am I responisble for CHOPPING MALL finally getting a DVD release or is it all just an amazing coincidence. I'm voting on the latter. Still, what a coincidence.
Something else just dawned on me. How can it be a 20th anniversary edition if the movie was made in 1986. Jumping the gun there just a bit, eh?
