MadTV already attacked a sketch like you describe.

But yes, it would be nice for Ferrel to make a cameo for this. Seth Myers could play a convincing Ken Jennings.

Actually, H&R Block came out and offered him their tax services for life, since it was because of them (wrong answer) he lost.

I bet the lady who beats him loses today.
She can totally tank and remain a one-day champion, but it doesn't matter. She'll be the 2nd most memorable champion in recent years, solely because she beat Jennings.

I don't know if anyone already, but apparently Jennings gave his work his two-weeks notice.

Now I can get back to enjoying Jeopardy!.

The audience reaction when they showed the FedEx answer was hilarious.

It sucks that we knew it was gonna happen before it did.

It would be nice if things like this were left as surprises.

There's an interesting read here:

Did that lady win today? I think it would be pretty interesting if the woman who ended the streak lost the very next day.

She didN"T. She screwed up a few questions near the end of Double Jeopardy to seal the deal she wasn't going to have a chance.

Jeopardy Revisited...

I'm bringing it back.

Did that Donna Vogel White Haired lady win again last night?

Yes. She is so damn creepy. It was a close game going into final Jeopardy. She and the second place guy both got it right, but both had really small wagers. The guy didn't risk enough to win. And Vogel gave her creepiest smile yet.

On a side note, my 2 year-old absolutely loves this show. When he hears the end music to Wheel of Fortune, he starts dancing around yelling "Jeopardy! Jeopardy! It's time for Jeopardy!" Then he always says "This... Iiiisss... Jeopardy!" along with the announcer. My kid's a nerd.

Vogel is good, but Larissa Kelly was the best thing ever, cute and softspoken and by far the best player and strategist I've seen in a while. I've started watching this show every day again.

My son won out last night and watched Go Diego Go.

Tonight I'm watching to see that white haired lady Go Down! Oh and Jeopardy looks awesome in HD. Vogel, looks creepier in HD.

Well Vogel went down last night, on probably the easiest Final Jeopardy Question EVER.

I think this show is rigged.

In all fairness, this is the easiest question ever if you're the type of person who frequenst a movie message board. Vogel had previously shown some weakness in pop culture categories, so it wasn't entirely unexpected. Plus, the winner even seemed surprised that she got it right.

I agree with James on Larissa. She was awesome. She seemed to be doing the Ken Jennings trick of randomly running through categories to find the Daily Doubles and making risky bets. Trivial Pursuit games with her family must be insane - she destroyed on Jeopardy, her husband also made it on but fell to the Jennings Death Machine, and I think she said her sister or brother was also on a few years back.

That vogel had some shifty eyes. Wacky science lady like Jeff Goldblum's Grandmother.

This Larissa on the other hand, straight out of the 80's, with the shoulder pads, feathered short hair and hoop earrings.

I had no idea there was a Jeopardy! thread on Chud.

Who knew there was a Jeopardy thread floating around Chud?

In light of the last year's Watson thing, I found this old comment pretty amusing.

Anyway, a good buddy of mine is on the show tomorrow night, and I'm irrationally excited about it.
