UT2k4 Alien Swarm

Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum and not quite up to speed on modding in PC games, but I heard that the Alien Swarm mod for UT 2k4 is supposed to be quite good. Does anyone have any experience playing this yet?

Unless your just talking about the Invasion mode thats included with the game, i've never heard of this. I didn't think any real big mods for UT2k4 had been released yet besides Red Orchestra.

Which blows.

Alien Swarm is a totally different mod. Invasion, which does indeed blow goats, is not what I was referring to. Check these sites out for more information.

This is if you have the UMOD version that you cant get to work.

I haven't quite gotten the hang of it myself, so if you need more help use google or check out places like PlanetUnreal or BeyondUnreal.

Thanks a lot. I finally got the mod working and it kicks serious ass. It's as if someone finally created ALIENS the video game, although it does feel somewhat Starcraft 3-D to me. Everybody needs to get this. You run around and kill an endless stream of aliens and their eggs, and it looks really damn good, an overhead view of Unreal Tournament.
