Mwahahaha! That was...eeeexcellent. Sith apprentices are dumb, I kicked so much ass on that planet I should be the Supremely Awesome Grand Overlord of Korriban. On to my 5th planet, Manaan!
Left the Academy and went straight to Korriban. Already smoking in the evil category. Killed many more than previous light-sided campaigns.

I cant beat Sherruk, the mandalorian dude on Dantooine. HELP ME GOD

Just make sure you have shields equipped and active, use your adrenal stimulants, and have your party gang up on one enemy at a time.

RE: the revelation on the Leviathan.

OH SHIT.

Anyone else ever notice that the double-bladed red lightsabre that Darth Bandon sometime drops reacts different to the crystals than all the others?
Who's that guy? Do you meet him in the damned Star Forge? I'm still stuck on the walkway where the heavy troopers and dark jedi don't. stop. coming. at. me.
He's after the underwater area on Manaan. If you go to a workbench it should show up as a second empty double-bladed red sabre. One of the crystal combinations (Sapith,Upari) will give you an Attack + 9 & Damage + 9.

I got so frustrated (especially since my combo at the time was HK-47 and Garth) so I had no Jedi to help with that huge onslaught. What did I do? Cheated of course. I lowered by difficulty rating to easy, and then breezed on through the walkway. Evil huh?

..you truely are a master of evil.

I NEVER used HK47. Wierd, huh?

(Also, did you mean Carth? Not Garth? Unless you're playing the country music version......)
You know, I've played through the game multiple times and have never picked up HK-47 as a player. I only tried during my lightside game but I just didn't feel like spending a bunch of time collecting cash. I'll be sure to get him this time though. Other than Z I never liked using the non-jedi characters anyway.

I did heart Big Z.
You'd think, since I am awesomely Dark Side-eriffic, I wouldn't need to do that. I hate having to waste turns renewing shields and stims. I got pretty far, I think, the other day but then they started coming at me from both sides. Shenanigans! My team is myself, Bastila, and HK-47.
Never used HK-47?!? Didn't you need to use him to translate for you on Tatooine? Come to think of it, the only time I used HK-47 was on Tatooine and then the Star Forge. I don't know what I was thinking when I choose him then. I should have chosen both Jedi and had an ass kicking time. Oh well. KOTOR2, hurry up.

Did I type Garth? Damn clumsy typing fingers. Either that or I was subconsciously desiring to hear country music. You decide.

Hee. Garth.

I only switched to easy after many days of frustrating play time stuck in that damn walkway. Which by the way must be about 20 fuckin miles long in real life. Give in Gravedigger. Switch to the easy setting.

HK-47? Upon further reflection? Useless. If you have a spot saved before disembarking onto the Star Forge I would redo your team on the Star Forge.

SPOILERS

Well, it's HK or Canderous. On the Unknown Planet, Carth ran off like a bitch and I killed Jolee, Mission, and Zaalbaar. And I wasted that other Jedi way back on Dantooine while I was in training. I don't think that little droid would do me much good on the Star Forge.

END SPOILERS

At any rate, I've shelved KOTOR for a bit in an effort to stop neglecting Metroid Prime.

I find this game absolutely engrossing. I think I am going to have to play again. I tried to play dark side, but I ended up light, much that same as prala did. I can't wait for KOTOR 2!

I also missed the Carth's son quest, so I'll have to be on the lookout for that as well.
You haven't finished Metroid Prime?!? Slacker.

As to KOTOR: You're fucked.
Anyone that plays this game without using HK-47 is missing out on some hilarious dialogue. prala, if you're going to replay the game with the Dark Side, keep him on your team as soon as you buy him. Sure, the Jedi NPCs are more efficient in killing your enemies, but he has ALL the best lines.

You suck. You didn't have Big Z kill Mission? Easily the greatest moment of evil ever in a video game. I killed Jolee (actually had Bastila force choke him while I watched), but I made Z swear his loyalty and take out Mission (after a little Force Persuasion).
I tried three or four times to do that, A-P. I don't have Force Persuasion, though, so maybe that's why I couldn't make it happen.

Hell, I've gone dark just by being practical to get the mission done...of course, I went to Korriban right after Dantooine, but all I did was pick the practical route for choices (not for power, just thinking about the mission), and that turned me all red.

Prala, I've had the occasional hiccup in graphics a few times...most notably on the starship trying to get to the airlocks, and on ONE field segment on Dantooine (all the others were fine). And now, after switching back from tusken robes on Tatooine, half my armor crashes the game when I try to put it back on. Argh.

Love this game, though. The voice acting and scripting are top notch. These folks need to write the TV series.

Is there any real benefit to using the small lightsabers? I know they have less of an "off hand" penalty, but for someone who always upgrades "two hand fighting" first, is there ever a reason to use them?
