Ok pretend you are a college student during summer break. You have $70 in your bank. You want to play CoH really bad, but you have other games to play that are fun. You don't get paid for 10 more days($200+). You have enough gas to function at your job and your mom gives you food money occasionally

Is CoH worth the buy at $40 + tax and $15 subscription?

CoH does include the first month free.

I think it's absolutely worth the subscription fee, and I never thought I'd hear myself saying that. I was always vehemently against the "pay-to-play" games, but I couldn't not play CoH. I've been playing for about a month and I'm having as much fun with it as I've had with any game in years.

Personally this is an easy one. I spend something like 25 dollars a month on video games (1 game every two months).

I played UO for two years (paying $10/month) after getting the game for free as part of a magazine promo. Considering the number of hours I played (and the incredible fun I had), it was well worth it.
