yeah so i was out breeding my huskies and it came to me ya know that maybe just maybe there is a world outside my cabin out here in the Yukon eh. I mean could we be a more boring country?
The squirrel population of vancouver could theoretically if given the right to vote govern the whole of Canada.

I was practically raised in the Yukon. nice scenery.

vancouver squirrels kick ass. I have a video tape of some friends chasing them around the ubc school grounds that makes me laugh like a retard everytime I play it.

For serious, Montreal is the best city in Canada and I pity the fool who cannot see that.
Montreal is pretty good. But anyone in any country would be hard-pressed to come up with 3 cities as good as Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Pass on Calgary, though.

As a country we are blessed.
Calgary's got its pros and cons. It's not a place I'd aspire to live, but since I'm here I'm not itching to leave either. The bike trails are superb, and being close to the mountains is nice. The local hiking spots look like the beauty shots from The Lord of the Rings.

I don't know that I'd care to live in a city as big and crowded and polluted and expensive as Toronto. Vancouver's okay.

The cost of living sky-rocketed in T.O. the last 9 years after our former premier Mike Harris revoked rent control laws. He said it was to create incentive for construction, but I havent seen much beside upscale condos go up for the last several years. He didn't do much for clean living either, as Walkerton was evidence of. He made the owner of a car dealership Minister of Transportation, and a high-school drop-out the Minister of Education for crissakes (last example off-topic but still extremely aggravating)! We now have a strong pro-public transit mayor and a much more progressive premier, which at least gives me hope for the next several years.

No offence re: Calgary, Seabass. I haven't had much luck the last few times I've been through there. Agree 100% on the scenery, though.
