Good review. Comprehensive, good history of the show. Shows how opinions vary, though - I've always felt Flaherty was one of the funniest cast members, and deserved the post-show success Levy got.

This review marks the first time I've ever seen the word "commentate". Good word. Great review. The background info and perspective really puts this over the edge. Great stuff.

Few responses, but good responses. Thanks for the kind words.

Oh, and Subotai, I always find it most difficult to review comedy. Everyone has a different taste in comedy, and what's funny to someone is dumb to someone else. I mentioned the characters I felt were weakest and strongest, but I didn't want to go into it much for that very reason. I opted to talk about what made SCTV an important piece to comedy.
