XBox File transfers

I just got an Xbox today and I've got a bunch of saved games on a friend's. Anyone know if you can transfer files between Xboxs without having to get a memory card? 'Cause if not, I'm gonna be pissed.

I just found this on Google, so have no idea if it works or not, or what's involved - but it's a Windows program for transferring XBOX saves.

Unless both xboxes are mod-chipped you can forget it.

Memory card is the only realistic way unless you want to get into some really complex hacks involving MechAssault or 007: Nightfire gamesaves.

Also, be warned: not all saves can fit onto memory cards. Kotor saves are but one example, I believe.

Now, I've never worked at a video game store so I have no idea what's involved or how true this is... But about a month ago the clerk at my local EB Games tried to sell me on purchasing the new Halo Green special edition XBox. I told I already had an XBox. He informed me that I could trade the old one in for $80... and that they could transfer the memory from my old HD to the new one.

Hmmm. Then there is a way to do it, and apparently without ruining your warranty, unless this guy was lying. You may want to go to a video game store and ask them about it.

Thanks, guys. also, Jacob, THAT'S why I'm really pissed. I've already started over twice. Not really looking forward to that again.
