Can you get any more specific?

How are they as compared to Glitter?
Uncle Sam has a more colorful outfit than Mariah Carey

but the lighting is better in Glitter......soooooo, I'd say that it is a tie

Uncle Sam is dull. It has some decent gory kills but other then that it's a bore. There is no suspence, no characters. I liked the killers costume though + the gory kills. It's been a long while since I've seen it so I can't give you more then that.

I'd say that it is like Jack Frost(the horror movie...not the Michael Keyton horror movie)except with Stars-n-Stripes

I would reccommend checking this out... http://www.filmfreakcentral.net/dvdr...udeaduncle.htm

I haven't seen UNCLE SAM but DEATHDREAM is a fine film that sounds like it's receiving top notch attention.

Deathdream is definitely a keeper. A good take on The Monkey's Paw.
Uncle Sam is suitable only for the most hardcore Larry Cohen fans. I'm talking about the ones who liked Return to Salem's Lot.

Uncle Sam sucks HARD.

One of the worst movies I've seen. Just bad. MST3K bad.

Ironically enough, it was shot in the town I live in, right down the street from where I was living at the time. Most of the exteriors were shot in and around Kuns Park, including the graveyard and 'peeping sam' scenes as well as all the exteriors of the house.

The explosions were filmed there as well. One (the final one) was set WAY too powerful, and proceeded to blow out windows across the park and across the street on the other side of the park, at about 3am one night! I was about two blocks away, I just thought it was an earthquake when it nearly knocked me out of bed.

I've seen it two or three times for that reason ALONE. In short, unless you've lived in La Verne, CA, don't waste your time. It's just really, truly horrible.

Yeah, I was goingto say it was like Jack Frost but without the suspense, humor, acting, plot development or amazing special effects.

God Bless you Blue Underground !

I watched Deathdream last night. It was the first time I've seen it. John Marley is legendary for his roles in Godfather and Faces. He continues to really act in this one - good stuff. There's some good atmosphere, and some really awesome kills. The dog scene with the kids crying is just splendid.

Blue Underground has just entered my radar in the last few months - I think I saw a couple Larry Cohen movies put out by them (hadn't paid him much mind until Devin's 50 classics piece on Q). They seem like they've put out some dvd's of respectable quality - a good company.
