So, I just beat Halo 1. Although I had played through it co-op before i was an Xbox owner, i took my time with it this time and wow its a fantastic game. Everything has already been said about it, but Bungie did a great job with a variety of locales, enemies, weapons. I never got bored. The checkpoint system was perfect and I never found myself redoing stupid walking portions or door openings because checkpoints were placed at the right time.
The only thing that I didn't like was the first meeting with the flood which i felt dragged abit, and the ending level because i really dont like how the warthog handles, but besides that perfect.
Anyway, my version had all the movies released by Bungie on halo 2....WOW. That gameplay movie with Chief in the city streets was fanfucking tastic. The Brute hijacking the warthog, and then chief returning the favor by hijacking the ghost. Action packed and looked very fun.
I was looking forward to the multiplay, but wow ths single play looks to be amazing again as well.
