I'm sure they could make a ton of cash doing where are they now sequels to movies like The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, and Grease.

This would be the greatest sequel since "Blues Brothers 2000".

You know what......having him skip work and doing a bunch of crazy things would be awesome. the script would have to be perfect though.

I like to think of Election as the unofficial sequel to Ferris Bueller, because I like the idea that the irritating cockiness of youth has been trampled into bitterness, and he's become the very thing he once opposed.

A proper Ferris sequel would be fucking awful.

We all know what happened after. Ferris took on the Big G, Sloane married Jean-Claude Van Damme and then died, and Cameron became the Captain of the starship Enterprise. Case closed.

 

From everything I can piece together, Ferris Bueller 2 will be a Super Bowl commercial.  Yay?

Only yay if he's brutalized and killed by the underclass his sloth is reliant on.

Well, that spot is certainly one way to make an entire generation weep uncontrollably at the thought of time's cruel whip & their unforgiving march towards inevitable decrepitude.

I like to think American Psycho was the sequel to Ferris Bueller, just that he changed his name.

Good lord. I'd see that film. I don't even care about people reading into the politics of Ferris, I absolutely love that film. A sequel where he's an absolute cock to everyone and has no redeeming arc would please me no end. Also, Broderick looks a great deal less puffy than he normally does. Good.

For whatever reason, call it fate, call it karma, i believe everything happens for a reason.

 

And I really, really want to see this film.

Ferris's Chinese isn't bad!

Pretty much what I was expecting, although I'm a bit disappointed he was playing himself.  Guess actually having Ferris would be a pain in the ass, legally and monetarily.  The walrus gag still killed me, though.

They couldn't shell out the extra scale money to bring Cameron, Sloan and Jennifer Grey's old nose along too?  WTF?

So half-assed.

Shame on you Honda, for getting my hopes up.
