'Bueller' actor charged with violation.

Sarasota FL. (AP) Actor Jeffery Jones, is accused of failing to register as a sex offender. Jones, 57, pleaded no contest last July to a felony charge of employing a 14-year-old boy to pose for sexually explicit photos. The actor was sentanced to 5 years' probation and ordered to register as a sex offender and undergo counciling. Officals said Jones registered at the address he was at last year, but moved in March without registering again. On Thursday, authorities arrested Jones, and charged him with failing to register as a sex offender. He was later released on $1,000.00 bail, according to police records. Jones' films include "Beetlejuice" and "Sleepy Hollow".

He was arrested the first time before he starred in HBO's "Deadwood". I wonder if he gets a lot of shit on movie sets? Eddie Murphy lived down picking up a transvestite hooker so I guess actors are pretty much bullet-proof.

Filmmakers too. Victor Salva (director of Jeepers Creepers, Powder) likes little boys (or at least he used to).

But this is hollywood we're talking about. Morality is only as valuable as the dollar ammount attached to it.

I guess the main point of my thread is, why isn't this guy in jail? Robert Downey Jr. spent all that time in jail for drugs. The only person Robert hurt was himself. Jones is abuseing others. I've heard rumors that this isn't the first time Jones has been in trouble for perverted shit like this.

Not to be an ass, and not to pick on you or anything, but I'm tired of hearing about how its Hollywood, therefore the freakshow is to be expected. Frankly, for all the "weird" stuff that goes on out there in sunny Ca, it PALES in comparison to what wall street power brokers and other such captains of industry get up to in their spare time.

Jones was once a staple of Tim Burton films: Beetlejuice, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow. However, was missing from both Planet of the Apes and Big Fish. Guess he's now to weird even for Tim to work with. Same for Paul Reubens.
