Spiders II-Breeding Ground

So I'm currently living with a friend who has cable and I accidently watched this last night on Sci-Fi.

You know, Richard Moll and some cheap CGI aside, I thought it was pretty decent. Horribly flawed but the spiders actually seemed creepy at times, more so than ELF in many situations. What I kind of like with these cheap monster movies is that these unknown actors and writers take the story seriously (for the most part). They try to sell you on these just terrible cliche's and awful premises. I find it quite charming.

I haven't seen this sequel yet but the original SPIDERS by Gary Jones is a masterpiece in that ridiculously overcrowded (thanks Scifi Channel) sub-genre. Jones is a relly fine director IMO. He also directed CROCODILE 2 which blew Tobe Hooper's first part right out of the swamp. I hope he'll eventually get a job (and script) that does his considerable talent justice.

I absolutly despise Spiders the first time I saw it. I have watched it again recently and it was a little better. The ending was just time silly for words
