Yeah Yeah, I'm sure there have been a lot of threads about TFTC in the past, but I haven't been around that long to experience them, so may I start a new one?

Well, my first question is where oh where is the DVD box sex? Isn't this a sure fire hit? I mean they could release the entire series bare bones and I'm sure tons of fans would pick it up anyway.

I know they released some selected episodes but that's such a tease. Is there some kind of company clashing or any sort of business related hoopla that I'm not aware of that is preventing the release of this?

This show was really great I used to watch it all the time a few years ago. So what's the deal? Where is the box set?

Hummmm!

Box sex, interesting?!?! I wonder what Freud would say? Probably something with penis envy in it.

To remain on topic, only God knows why they haven't issued a complete box set yet.

A story about a DVD box set did appear here a while ago, but I think it was just being released in France. If you do a search for it, you'll probably turn it up. I want to say it was 4 months ago, but it might have been longer than that. Hope that helps....

Seriously, I'm of the same mind. I've been bitching about this for ages now. I can buy fucking Doctor Quinn Medicine Woman but not TFTC? Where the hell is the justice in that.

I love TFTC, have both movies and that lame disc with three episodes. Now I want more. When companies are now releasing obscur cult stuff like Land of the Lost, isn't it time for a TFTC box set? Can we get some sort of petition started?

I would buy a Tales from the Crypt box set in a heartbeat. The episodes must be uncut of course.

It would be nice to have some commentaries, interviews/retrospective/whatever. So many famous actors and directors worked on it.

That's a good point. A TON of famous directors from both film and televion have gone through TFTC at once point. And actors!? TONS as well. Point being, I'm sure there are more then enough people out there willing to sit down for an interview or commentary. I would love to see a nice behind the scenes on the creation of the cryptie puppet. I would also like to see a bunch of commentaries from John Kassir.

Anyone know who owns the show now? It's still HBO right?
