Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

LOVE it. Took me a while to get used to it, since I'm not big on Tactical RPGs, but I really like it so far. The only part I hate is the part that I can't figure out how to learn what different abilities, etc DO.

Any tips?

Prala, the key to getting new abilities is to first put on equipment that has certain traits for your characters (and certain items can only be equipped to certain races and jobs). Once you've done that, fight your ass off. By earning experience, you'll not only gain new abilities, but you'll open up new jobs as well.

I think my mistake was not changing weapons/abilities early on. Makes me kinda want to start all over, from a fresh perspective and kick some ass.

HATED the game when I started playing, but then realized how lovely it is!

I have this game, but I've had a hard time getting into it. There's just so much involved in the game, and since I haven't touched it in a couple months, I'm sure I'll be completely screwed up when I try to get back into it.

I did that with Golden Sun 2, put it down for so long I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to be doing now.

Happily, I've been traveling a lot. I'm not even that upset that I couldn't find Baldur's Gate!

Which I still really, really want.
