Yes, I noticed that it spelled it too.

Some drastic changes were made from the original and revised screenplay.

I printed out the script (revised version) yesterday. I'm always down for a good creature feature...

Patrick from Cinescape read it and said it was damn good, almost on the level of Evil Dead. Might have to check that out...

It seems like it would be hard to determine that from just a script, since a lot of Evil Dead's greatness comes from Sam Rami's unique direction and visuals.

A PG-13 EVIL DEAD? Wow, that's so exciting!!!

It's schlocky and pretty obvious -- lots of goofy comedic bits that, while they may work all right on paper, will come off unremittingly cheesy onscreen. Chances are likely tbat it will turn out more in the vein of SCARY MOVIE than EVIL DEAD II.

Not that I'm bitter or anything.

My bet is that Miramax will transform this into a full-blown comedy in the editing room, much like they did with THE BATTLE OF SHAKER HEIGHTS last year -- a layered coming-of-age drama became a wacky teen movie.

At least that way the creative people involved learn right from the start what it feels like to be ruthlessly sodomized by the studio. After taking thein Weinstein Bros' pig dicks up their collective shitters it can only get better for all of them.

As I was a contestant in PGL I got to read the original script some time ago and enjoyed it emmensly.

I knew my screenplay could never fit a PG-13, but hey it was worth a try.

Anyhow, I hope that they don't ruin this flick. The whole time I was reading Feast I was wondering what they would do to tone it down. I'll defianaly be watching the show as this movie has a lot of potentiial for fun and should cause some really cool behind the scenes. Hmm, I wonder who they'll cast as The Heroin?

Read the revised script -- it's been crap-itized. Seriously, it's gone through some pretty radical changes, none of which are for the better. My script made it into the Top 100, and judging from what happened to this one in the revision process, I'm more than happy that it didn't go further.
