Someone explain to me the draft process

I'm new to this draft thing...and it looks fun...but somebody explain to me how exactly it works. That way maybe I can get in on the next one. Or is there an older thread that explains it?

I'm currently doing the movie studio draft and it's my first one. That and I'm English so I'm not familiar with drafts from our sports.
That said, it really wasn't that hard to get into. As far as I can tell this is how it works:

- Draft is announced. Sign up for it in the appropriate thread
- Participants are put in a random order
- 1st round, you take your pick in that order during your time slot.
- Each round the order is reversed to give everyone a fair pick.

It may be too late to join the Movie Studio Draft, but if you want to PM Proyas about it you might be able to fit in. It'll be jumping in the deep end a bit though as it's a bit more complex than the normal drafts and it's almost coming to an end.

That said, I'm still pretty newand I'm sure there are far more experienced people to give you advice.
