Holy Hell.

shitty sound quality, but i swear a heard a few notes of a theme underneath the low drone at the end. five notes, maybe. More mournful than the classic '89 theme. not gothic as much as melancholy, but with the potential of beng played very menacingly with a full orchestra.
am i hearing things? it is far too early for them to have a theme, isn't it? maybe they recognise how cool the first film's music was and made sure to get it right early on.
Oh, and great teaser trailer. Oh yes.

I loved it, just enough mood and tension to start the excitement. I hope this is a good indication of where Nolan et al are going with this.

Nice teaser. VERY nice. Ends perfectly. Can't wait for more.

Goosebumps.
So is this going to be on the Village, or does anybody even know that yet?
It's just a teaser, to keep it in perspective, but it didn't really do anything for me.
Ideas on who the guy is that comes through the door?
That was a little too much teasing. Maybe a sentence or two and some cool images of him in the full-on Batman outfit would have been better. It starts off like a full trailer and it makes you think you'll see more but then ends. That's not teasing, that's just not nice.

The Hulk Teaser #2
I liked it. I am already excited for the movie, but this teaser did not necessarily increase the excitement. It just showed a lot of varied scenery that I was sort of surprised to see in a batman teaser. Only one shot of Batman and the rest was this world journey, which was an interesting way to tease it.

And the guy walking through the door was approaching Bruce wayne on the ground...and I think that will be Ducard's first meeting with bruce.

Ok, I dont know who walks through the door.

Also...I still think the mask looks too fat.

Yay! Hot damn.
Holy moly.

I love the mood, and the shot of him falling down the well.

But damn, I need to see that Batmobile in action...

It was Aragorn.

Some guy named Bruce Wayne. I think he has some connection with Batman. *rolls eyes*
No, the guy in the room approaching Waynes, smartass.

it looks like one scene to me.

and it does look like Aragorn's entrance . . .
It's a shadowy figure. COuld be Liam Neeson's character, could be Bruce hallucinating and seeing himself as Batman......
Who knows?
I'd say it's Ducard, seeing how he's the one who supposedly trains Bruce in the mountains.

Anyone got a direct link to one of the Quicktime versions?

Anyone have a saveable version? I can't get it to stream in windows media.
Um. The above two links. Right click, save as.
Cool teaser, I would have liked it better with them showing him looking at the revealing of the batsuit as the ender instead of 2wo Pictures from the web (seriuosly the last 5 secs of the trailer play out like an old flash movie)..

Liked the tone...
The mood is way different than the previous movies. The teaser almost made it seem like a spooky, horror movie. Nicely done.

I did notice the strong resemblance to the Hulk teaser with the Bana voice-over. This shows a bit more stuff, though.

I would have preferred a pure logo trailer to this shit.

If I hadn't already read the screenplay (and thus know that this film is going to be excellent) then I would have cried as I saw this.

It looks like a scottish nature drama with a misplaced shot of a man in a bat costume inserted!

Nothing exciting at all and the regular moviegoer will be very disappointed by this I bet!

That's a good teaser. I like the tone, and Bale's VO was good too.
What a big stinking pile of meh.
Is this a special teaser like Spidey 1 WTC or is it actual footage of movie?
I liked it. I kinda wish I hadn't even known what movie it was for when I saw it.
Would you people stop complaining? It's a teaser, it's supposed to tease you. This is a film with a great director and the perfect leading man with probably the finest ensemble cast ever assembled for a comic book movie, be glad it's even being made.
I liked the music a lot. Any ideas what it was?

Yikes! I posted that 13 hours ago... WB must've hacked CHUD.

That teaser was VERY good. And contrary to what a few others have said, I love the fact they showed so many non-typical Batman locations and so little of Batman himself. It really sets up how differently this film is going to be (stylistically) from any of the previous ones. Great tone. Nice cinematography. Awesome music (I did hear something resembling a theme in there). This is, afterall, a story about the character Bruce Wayne who just happens to become something called Batman because of the things that've led him to that point. This teaser illustrated that perfectly in my opinion.
As a teaser it's fine, did it's job. Not very impressive, but it did its job.

good day to be a geek.

It's a teaser, it sets the tone, so relax and be teased.
I've been a big Batfreak since the priest bait age of seven, that IS Batman, I'm happy.

If you read the script, and you were hoping for more, then that's just your own fucking fault that you insisted on spoiling yourself.
I won't touch it myself.
The shot of the snowcapped mountains is teaser trailer manna from heaven, an old staple that never gets tiresome.

I hope there's lots of KICKBOXER-style shirtless Christian Bale asskicking in this.

It's actual footage.

gurgleblargelburdlegjkasjf

There is something in the darkness...

...me.

Oh yeah.

I doubt I'll look forward to a superhero film as much as this one again.

In fact, the last time I got this excited for a comic adaptation a year before was back in 1988-9
post #45 of 95
Visually, it looks great. I've always loved Nolan's style though, as far as the crisp contrast and the muted palettes. You wouldn't know it was for a Batman film at all without the logo or voice-over, which I like a lot. Very effective little teaser.

Exactly.
Except that Bale has the classic Batman gravelly grave whispered voice of Burtons original.

Which I fuckin love.
Bale is the balls.
Okay, so there's a new Batman movie coming out and it's not going to be Tim Burton or Joel Schumacher filming a movie in a giant toybox. That's all people need to know from the teaser.
