Actually the quote is "Best action/comedy/horror/romance movie ever made. *****" Paul Ross- The News of the World. Seriously, he said that about three action movies in the one year. BOTH Empire nad Total Film did a piece on him being a poster quote whore of the year and had his quotes from xXx, The Scorpion King and a third action movie that I can't recal the name (Possibly The James Bond movie of that year) and each quote said "This is the best action movie ever made."

Yeah, I remember one of those mags pulled him up about why he's such a poster quote whore and he tried to defend his statements but got pissed off when he couldn't explain the xXx/Scorpion King thing.

The dude annoys the fuck out of me. Just because his brother is a pretty succesful film critic, whose reviews I respect, makes him think he can be one to. Oi Paul! NOOOOOOOO.

Another funny thing to hear is when when Uma Thurman and co are bigged up as the stars of Batman and Robin. (see Kill Bill box) Why would you want to taint a good film with a statement like that?

I think we have an American equivalent over here. Some fat bastard from Wireless Magazine. He likes EVERYTHING!!! I don't remember his name, but I remember seeing him on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he was pathetic. He reeked of shill! It was hilarious.

I was watching a trailer online for Transformers: The Movie the other day and the narrator actually says the following:

"...and at film's end, when the monstrous planet Unicron, played by Orson Welles, reveals its long-held secret by transforming into the most gigantic robot ever, you'll know you have been watching a movie that is destined to bring back audiences again and again."

Maybe not a common thing to hear in a movie preview but it killed me.
