It premieres next Sunday at 8 pm PCT..
But my question was, they talked about a curse or something and all the people working on the set felt something was there when it was being shot. How come I never heard about this, can anyone provide articles that back this theory up, or are they just trying to hype up the movie The Beginning. I'm thinking is the last one but if anyone can find anything on it, it would make my work day go by faster

Buy the DVD and watch the documentary on it called THE FEAR OF GOD. The "curse" is well-known.

LOL, that curse crap again! That goes back to the original EXORCIST where like three or four people died during filming. But of course those were like old people who died of a heart attack or something and this stuff happens all the time and on every film set, not just with EXORCIST flicks. Filming takes a few months usually and there's always some old people working on movies and sometimes they die. That's life, nothing more nothing less. Every once in a while with any flick you'll see it dedicated to Joe the Catering Guy who died during the making of the movie. But of course when it happens on the EXORCIST set boo OMG that's sooo scray and let's hype it up and use it as a merketing ploy.

As for THE BEGINNING, Harlin said at some other horror site that some car almost ran him down while filming in Rome so it HAS to be the curse! And their producer stayed in room #666 at some hotel. Now that has to be the curse as well! Gimme a fucking break this is all bullshit to the nth degree.

I hope BEGINNING will be better then MINDHUNTERS or else they'll need all the stupid marketing gags they can get to make some bank.

That's what I was trying to avoid though..but thanks anyway.
Thanks Wetbones, your the man!!!
I never heard about this that's why I was asking.
When I was younger I heard stories, stories like Linda couldn't see herself in the mirror because she would get scared, stuff like dat that scares little kids just as myself.
And No offense Charles, I just can't buy it, the movie to this day scares the shit out of me (I'm 20), I can only watch it when it's on TNT or something.

there were also a bunch of fires on the set or something like that, can't remember right off.

I'm more prone to believe in the Poltergeist curse than the Exorcist curse.

The same shit happened with the filming of "The Omen" and "The Passion Of Christ" and both hyped it up.

I just double checked on the IMDB and did you know that every actor connected with the 1931 Dracula is dead?

Think about it....
