What about this?

Wonderful spinoff of the video game "House of the Dead"!! Best "new" idea for a Zombie flick! Check it out! 5 stars!!

I think who ever it was was smoking crack. Children Of The Living Dead he calls a classic! He says it was written, directed and stars Tom Savine. He also lists it above Night, Dawn and Day! Knows his zombie films my big old butt.

I think that djshokk is actually the Dude pseudonym.

The guy has 8mm, What Dreams May Come, and Spawn as some of the all time greatest movies

I'm often surprised at just how funny CHUD can be. There should be a list of them.

About The Fog:
Very good flick! Not a very clear view of any Zombie's, but the idea is still present! 4 stars.

Last time I checked The Fog was a ghost story NOT a zombie movie.
but but but... there's shambling in it. How can you have a movie with shambling thingies and not call it a zombie movie?

BTW, howcome this guy has The Fog in the list but not 28 Days Later or the Dawn remake?

Where to begin? Dawn of the Dead is concidered by most to be the best of the trilogy. Very interesting storyline, really gets ya' thinking! Comedy and gore, what more can you ask for! 5 Stars.
Nothing says 'laughs' to me like Dawn of the Dead. Who knew it was a comedy classic.

As a zombie fanatic, I find this list a bit...um...odd, especially the reasonings behind the choices.

I'm suprised we didn't see Dead/Alive: Peter Jackson's timeless story of innocence in a small town. A great character study in janitorial services. Top notch.

But it is the guy's opinion on these movies, so who am I to say anything about it.

Oh...

...ok...

ass!

The Beyond - Deep? Give me a fucking break. I love this movie, it has some show-stopping gore but come on, it certainly ain't deep!

Children Of The Living Dead is [according to him/her] better than The Evil Dead?

House of The Dead get's 5 stars?

House 2 and Resident Evil are also both better than The Evil Dead?

How the hell can this person put Return Of The Living Dead 2 on the list and feel good about themselves?

Hey, we're all entitled to an opinion but this person is wrong, wrong, WRONG!

From what we've heard from Mr. Boll in the past I wouldn't be surprised if this was him.

I was about to take credit for this until I saw this nugget:

"Wonderful spinoff of the video game "House of the Dead"!! Best "new" idea for a Zombie flick! Check it out! 5 stars!!"

That, and he put "Children Of The Living Dead" ahead of all 3 Romero Zombie movies. This guy...is officially...on crack!

Plus, no "Dellamorte Dellamore." Okay, I know it's not on DVD, but still...

I'm still trying to figure if this list is a joke or made by a mongoloid named Scott who buys Plymouth Sattelites.

All I can say is, short bus aside, at least the guy seems to be a rabid (perhaps a bit misguided) horror fan. I find it refreshing to find an individual that loves it all; good and bad (although some of what he mentions is aweful). But you know what? The kid's a fan. He isn't ashamed (albeit anonymously) to just admit to what he likes.

Reminds me of the kid who stood up to ask Bruce Campbell whether or not there was ever going to be an 'Evil Dead 4' at Cali Fangoria '02. Poor kid got boo'ed for asking a 'dumb' question. But he was there and obviously loved the genre.

I'm not 'yelling' at anyone. Christ, I made fun too (and I'd do it again, damn it). But, he's just a guy amidst a bunch of Amazon lists. Don't get too worked up about it.

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. But, as was mentioned by someone else in this thread, this is someone who said something as fantasticly stupid as this:

Honestly, there's just no excuse for that.

EDITED TO ADD- Oh fuck me, I just say THIS:

Actually, this one's even better:

1. 'Interview with the Vampire - DTS' is anyone's starting point. If you don't like this movie, or aren't completely seduced by the darkness after seeing this, then go no further. In my opinion, Interview with a Vampire is kind of an "everything you need to know" guide about learning about vampires. It's based on the book by Ann Rand, which I hear is very good as well.

2. 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' before the era of slick special effects, this movie is a cinematic and historically accurate tale of Count Dracula. It is the story of how it all begain. Another Ann Rand adaptation, it is far more faithful to history and actual occurances than most Hollywood vampire creations. Great for its accuracy, and fun with shadows and tricky scenes. Will keep you with it, despite the primitiveness of its effects. Its also home to Annie Lennox's song "Love Song for a Vampire" which isn't bad.
