Thread Starter
this is kind of a weird post but i wanted to share the love for ONE MAN. I just watched Lost Boys on the new Special Edition dvd and since i hadn't seen it in a while....i had nearly forgotten about... Tim Cappello!

you know....? Tim Cappello.... THE SAX PLAYING, CHAIN-NECKLACE WEARING 80'S ROCKER! How great is that scene? Just happy..and thrusting..and playing the Sax....... and...playing the Sax...

show your love!

Someone needs to post the picture of Tim Cappello with the gigantic Kool Aid smile. I've seen that photo before and it about sums up the man - GAY. He looks like he should be playing at a club where men dance with men (how charming). The purple spandex might be a little over the top.

He does make the hell out of the boardwalk scenes in the movie, considering your alternative is watching Jami Gertz do some bizarre ritual dance with her hands while Jason Patric blatantly stalks her.

I don't know why I found Jason Patric so dreamy when I saw this movie as a teenager - the way he follows Jami Gertz around in the movie he's about two steps away from killing people to impress her. Frightening. Not to mention the below the surface sexual tension between Billy Wirth and the little kid. Still one of my favorite movies though.

Cappello

Did a google search for Tim to see if he still has that same look. I can't find any updated pics. He's been playing with Ringo Starr recently and I remember him when I was in High School playing in Tina Turners band. I can't believe that there isn't a web page dedicated to this guy

I found this as a Tim Capello fan site. There are some updated pictures - he's looking a bit like Ted Nugent now that he's older.

Cover Song

The band I’m a part of plays the occasional gig at local clubs around town and depending on the crowd we’ll sometimes break out our take on “I Still Believe” since most of us in the group are horror fans. As the bass player you can understand the rush I get playing those first few notes because you’ll always have a handful of people that “get it” right from the start. It’s a great feeling to jar someone’s memory a little even if we don’t have some half naked beefcake playing sax in our band.

Cappello did play with Tina Turner’s band as mentioned earlier and I believe that’s his work heard on the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome soundtrack along with said songstress.

You should hear our funk version of the Nightmare on Elm Street theme, good for a laugh.

Pony Tailed Crisco Covered Beefcake

HAHAHAHA the wife just came in and saw me read over the thread for recent posts. Thanks to the pictures pasted above, I believe that she has now labeled me a homosexual.

Yeah, he showed up in the video for Tina's "One Of The Living", also from the Thunderdome soundtrack.
He and Clarence Clemmons should tour.

Dang, I thought I was the only one who thought this guy was the highlight of the whole movie.

And the girl too...

And the vampires....

In case anyone forgot, this reminds us that JOEL SHUMACHER DIRECTED LOST BOYS!

This, and the platinum Kiefer Sutherland in black leather.

My friend confessed his bi-sexuality to me during that sax solo. I'm not joking here. We were watching The Lost Boys at the theater in '87 and he told me that he wished he could be like that oiled up sax player. Muscular and unafraid of what others might call him. That's right. Tim Capello outed my buddy!

One time, in the middle of the night, I had to go to the bathroom.
I got up, went downstairs and afterwards, I heard a noise in the kitchen.

When I ventured into the room, there he was. Timmy Capello, in the oiled flesh standing in my kitchen drinking orange juice straight from the container.

I yelled at him, "Hey! We're not a bunch of savages in this house. Use a glass! Where the hell do you think you are?"

He just looked at me.

Then I asked him what the hell he was doing in my house.

He just looked at me.

OK, OK...all jokes aside...

Look at the band Sir Timmy Capello was in:

(and no joke any of us could EVER make could top this!)

What? You mean to tell me that you don't like a masculine guy with a sexy ass in a thong singing and playing a piano? What's wrong with you?

What is really bound to give me nightmares is not the silly muscle fag but the drummer and keyboard player to his right and left.

And for the record, I never liked the kind of homosexuals who make a show of their sexual orientation by dressing up and wearing make up. They are entitled to their ways of self-expression but I always thought it sad that these guys let their sexual orientation dictate every aspect of their lives. The same goes for goths and what other lame subcultures are out there. It's like these people have no personality so they have to project one through their appearance and mannerisms.

Say what you will...I saw him play at a Tina Turner concert and the ladies LOVED him. Maybe if the music falls through he could do bachlorette parties. Or do faux-butter commercials.

Not that it will do him any good.

That is unless he's just pretending to be gay, which is a surefire way to get laid. Which is why bisexuals have it best. But I degress ...

This dude is NOT pretending!!!
If he was any more gay, he'd be doing pirouettes.

(not that there's anything wrong with it...)

What's scary is that he looks a little like Michael Bolton.

Man, I never ever want to pick up my saxophone ever again after seeing these pictures.

The drummer and the other guy look like they wandered off the set of Amadeus.

I bet Sir Timmy could crack a walnut with his ass cheeks.

I am soooo gay for this minute right now.

Wow I have seen and heard some fucked up shit on this board in the last few years, but the Ken Dolls takes the cake and now I feel filthy just for reeding this thread.
