I was reading up on some news at cnn.com and look at this revelation in the Peterson case.....

This comes from Amber Frey's lawyer....


Allred said she was struck by one piece of information that came out of Wednesday's session:

Peterson was heard saying on one of the tapes that he believed "The Shining" -- in which a crazed novelist tries to kill his wife with an ax -- was the best movie ever made.


All they need now is investigators to introduce evidence found in the Peterson home which would include a novel Scott was working on which was nothing but 500 pages of....."All work and no play, makes Scott a dull boy"

I saw her say that on Larry King last night. It was by far one of the craziest things I've heard come out of her mouth. She also said that Kerouac's "On the Road" was his favorite book. This is obviously the important testimony that will put Peterson away. I can see the flow charts in the courtroom now.

Kubrick+Kerouac=Murderer

Case closed. Sheesh!

I for one do not believe that Scott killed Laci. He merely "corrected" her.

Absolute fucking bullshit dimwitted brainfart lunacy!!!

And that was the polite version.

I'm so fucking tired of this argument that evil movies and books and computer games bainwash and possess and turn people into murderer and pedophiles and homosexuals or whatever else these morons feel like blaming on them at any given time. There is no easy way out when it comes to these things! It's time those morons learn to take fucking responsiblity for their actions. It's not popular culture that fucks people up, it's our society as a whole, parents not doing their job, teachers not doing their job, the social system not doing its job. But these are tough and very real problems that could only be solved by spending money. It's always so easy and comfortable to just blame some movie or game, give the censors some more power and everything goes away for a while. But of course nothing has been solved. In fact, things have gotten worse.

I hope the judge smacks the bitch upside the head when she proposes her inane theory.

Jesus Christ. How can people believe this shit? How dumb can our culture be? All these people should see Bowling for Columbine, it makes an excellent point about this subject.

I've no idea who these people are, but they're certainly right: The Shining is by far the best movie ever made.
