That and my wedding band showed up today, too. Please, feel free to hate me.
Not so much hate, more like a jealous and homicidal frustration.
you bastard!
I got a water bill and a Victoria's Secret catalog.

So, y'know... things aren't ALL bad.

Awesome packaging.
Holy crap...you're getting married?!?

Get us a review as soon as you tear through it...which will probably be around the time the rest of us get it.
Yep, hate is exactly the right word you lucky bastard!!! God I can't wait to get my hands on that. This is one of those few times where I want it so bad it doesn't even bother me that much that between vhs and dvd it's like the 6th time I've bought this movie.

Must... control... mindless... rage...

Mustn't... lose... control...

Remember... what... happened... last... time...
Sure, that looks pretty but I'm sure it doesn't have the soul of my flickery half-chewed vhs copy.

Honestly where's the soul? Nah, you'd be better off getting a vhs copy and sending that dvd set my way.

Dogg.
Ahhhh, nostalgia guilt. Well played, Dogg.

But I prefer my reverse psychology.

Go ahead, Johnny. DON'T send me the DVD's. I didn't want them anyhow.

You want a review of my wedding or the DVD?

And Dogg, though you're argument is a good one, I just can't be swayed that easily. Now if you had the double tape edition on VHS...
Hee hee. I have the double-tape, the single American release and a bootleg of the Euro-cut. Soon, the box set will be mine, too!!!

And yeah, review your wedding!
You got Dawn of the Dead and a symbol of the Girlcreeture's undying love on the same day. It doesn't get much better than that, Johnny.

No, it really doesn't.
But does it have the Tom Savini commentary on the Cannes cut that's on the R2 UK DVD? Huh?

(I bet it does, too. Bastard!)
Congratulations again, btw!

Lucky! I'm jealous

I don't think it does, actually. I'm pretty sure the Savini commentary that is on is brand-new, since it's moderated by the DVD producer.
God I want that DVD. More then any other DVD ever. But you probably don't want it, it'll just distract you from all the wedding predarations, so you can send it my way.

Good luck with the weding by the way.
You think you're lucky but the truth is that comic book isn't all that great.

I'll be back when I can think of something better to hide my jealousy.

Git...

Devin Faraci reviews Butane-Girlcreeture wedding: says it's derivitive of every other wedding that's been made, the chicken was dry, hates that Don Murphy was given so much wedding video face time. Gives it 1 and 1/2 Dracs.

Ahhh, grinny emoticon. How many times have you pulled my butt outta the fire.

That looks beautiful. When can I expect one to show up in my mailbox?

I'm thinking September 7th (ish) is you pre-order it through Evil Shop.

Ain't life a bitch?
yeah, I was hoping I could get a free one too.
Me too. But, for some reason, they never come.
I wonder where they go.
It's a mystery that may never be known...

I will trade my flipper against your set. I'll give you one of my kid for bonus.

Kidding!
How bout a contest with the one and only Johnny Butante's autograph.
Just a quick question to Johnny Butane, or to anyone who's in the know:

Do the films have english subtitles? The only info that I've got is from Amazon.com, which says it's "Closed-captioned". Unfortunately Closed Captions don't work well overseas, so if there are no subtitles I may have to wait for the possible R2/R3 release.

There will be a contest once Dread Central launches, so don't worry. I won't be signing 'em, though.
He said "Johnny Butante" dude. Don't go getting a big head, now.
