All Time Great BATTLE CRIES!

I'm putting together a list of great battle cries. Here are a few to start off with

Arnold Schwarzenegger's challenge yell in "Predator", when he's all greased up and ready to rumble

John Wayne's "Fill your hands you son of a bitch!" in "True Grit"

William Shatner's "KHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNN!!"

(a personal fav) Brian Keith's attack on the whiskey bar in "The Mountain Men"

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Bruce Willis at the climax of Die Hard: "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!"

Bernard Hill in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King: "DEAAAAAAAAAAATH!"

Jean Reno's scream after he sends Natile Portman down the air-conditioning shaft, and he turns around, ready to take on whoever comes through the door (too bad it was a rocket) in Léon: The Professional.

Also in Hard Target-- Lance Henriksen yelling "HEY!" every time he fires his gun and constantly growling in slow motion (ex.- "RRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr.......AAAAAAAAAH! Dammit I'm gonna blow his goddamn head off!!")

It would be hard to make a loyal adaptation of any Redwall book, 'cause (A) it would be aimed at children, and (B) it would by default be rated R for violence and gore. Which means that they NEED to make one, damnit! I want my furry animal carnage!

Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war.
General Chang in Star Trek VI-The Undiscovered Country

Let's Go
Pike in The Wild Bunch. Not much of a battle "cry", though.

The closest you'll get to "Redwall" is that animated series that was aimed at children that ran on PBS.

Not technically a battle cry persay, but:

'Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers. I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not THIS day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down, but it is NOT THIS DAY. This day we FIGHT! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you STAND, Men of the West!'

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I'LL SHOW YOU THE LIFE OF THE MIND! I'LL SHOW YOU THE LIFE OF THE MIND!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" - Madman Mundt, Barton Fink

How'd I'd love to see Miyazaki do one of these...it'd have to be done by an Anime production company because an american company wouldn't touch the kind of violence in those books

and that PBS thing is a mind numbingly awful

Me, I'd like to see Weta Workshop take a crack at Redwall. Do the designs, and then CGI it. They could use Massive for the battles.
Brian Blessed's "DIVE!" from Flash Gordon
Mark Hamill's "DAAAAARTH!" from Return of the Jedi
post #24 of 30
More of a challenge than a battle cry, but I love in Kill Bill one when the Bride yells out, "O-ren Ishii! You and I have unfinished business!"
"Today we celebrate our Independence Day!"

That one movie were the warriors go "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" when they charge.
Not really a battle cry per se, but the pissed-off scream Christopher Reeve lets out in Superman 1 after Lois is dead....yeah....
When you were a baby lying in your crib and your father looked down on you he had but one wish....that one day you would grow to be a man. Well look at you now! You just got your asses whooped by a bunch of goddam nerds...NERDS! If I was you I would do something about it. I would go out there and redeem myself in the eyes of my father, my maker and my coach!

Peter O'Toole's murderous rage, "No prisoners!" in Lawrence of Arabia

Sam Elliot's pistol drawn "Prepare to defend yourselves!" from We Were Soldiers.

"Bitch, you don't have a future." The Bride, "Kill Bill 2"
Oh come on. No one for Walter's

"You're in for a world of pain"

from the Big Lebowski? Does that count?

edit: the "fuck a stranger in the ass" bit is probably a better example.
