Yes, I believe it is. Wasn't it the pilot?
Not sure... I know he did two episodes, but the second one came later.

Strangely enough, I don't, but I appreciate the vote of confidence Glad Johnny could answer it.

I shouldn't pick this up, as I just spent a shitload of cash at Frightcatalog on sets and props for the horror host show, but I'm betting it'll still end up on my shelf anyway.

I'm really looking forward to this, cause you know, I really haven't seen many Night Gallery episodes. It didn't seem to get rerun alot in my home town and I've barely seen any of them. All I'm really familiar with is the opening set ups in the "Night Gallery."

Is the HP Lovecraft "classroom" one with Carl Reiner in this set? That was Night Gallery right? I"ve been dying to see that forever.

Also looking forward to the Night Stalker dbl dvd....another series (and films) I have also missed out on in life. And I can never get too much Richard Matheson stories.

I ordered this yesterday, and I can't wait to watch it.

Does anyone know if the episode, which I can't remember the name of, about the little girl and the "mud creature" is in the set?

The first time I'd seen any of them was pretty recently when some channel ran a best of Night Gallery. They were all awesome. Very well done.

I'm very excited about this. When I was a kid I would watch this with my parents. I don't know what season the one with the ever increasingly big spiders is on but that episode landing me in trouble in second grade. I kept going on and on about it (with a stack of Tomb of Dracula comics in my desk) until my teacher, Mrs. Neno (the bitch!) started in on me and my monster fascination. She said I was sick and there was something wrong with me.

Man, I hope giant spiders got her.

I am interested to see how dated the episodes are though.

The episodes still work and aren't really too dated. That music still chills my bones though

Night Gallery's all time best episode is the Lovecraft adaption "Pickman's Model." Surely to God that one is included in the collection. And, although I can't remember it's title, I do remember the second episode Speilberg directed for the series starred Godfrey Cambridge as a terrible comic who gets his wish to be the funniest man alive granted to him by a genie.

I got my copy. Here is what is on the dvd collection:

Disc 1
The pilot episode with : The Escape Route, Eyes, The Cemetery
The House Keeper
The Dead Man
The Nature of the Enemy
The Little Black Bag
Room With A View

Disc 2
Certain Shadows on the Wall
The House
Clean Kills and Other Trophies
Make Me Laugh
Pamela's Voice
The Doll
Lone Survivor

Disc 3
They're Tearing Down Ripley's Bar
The Last Laurel

Bonus Stories:
Matter of Semantics
Diary
Professor, Peabody's Last Lecture
Big Surprise
Return of the Sorcerer
Whisper

Sorry, No Pickman's Model. I am hoping that "The Doll" one is the one with the creepy china doll that looked like Tammy Fay Bakker. I also love "Green Thumb". Oh well, maybe season 2?

Yeah, picked it up the other day, haven't had a chance yet to watch any. Really looking forward to it though. I really wish Pickman's Model or Cool Air had been on this season, but I'll have to settle for Prof, Peabody's Last Lecture---which I've been dying to see ever since I read about it in The Lurker in the Lobby a long time ago.

I remember watching one episode years ago with a painting that changes and shows a corpse coming up to a house. Does anyone remember this episode of Night Gallery? Is it "Room With A View?

FInally picked it up today. Looking forward to watching the episodes I haven't seen yet. "The Cemetary" was on that best of show and it is very good.

I'm a big fan of Night Gallery. I'm glad that the pilot is on the DVD. The first season lasted six episodes, correct? Regardless I'm buying it. It's a shame the show was cut up so much for syndication. I'm glad to see it back in it's original form.
