You may or may not know that there is a new indie horror movie coming out soon called 'Malevolence'. It's directed by new-comer Steven Mena, who has been compared to an early Sam Raimi.
We've got a lot of info on this new movie, as well as an exclusive interview with Steven, on our site.
Created as the middle section of a three-part trilogy, Malevolence takes place ten years after the unspeakable crimes of a deranged madman. When a bungled bank robbery intersects with inhabitants of the Pennsylvania farm country, a raw and edgy descent into terrifying madness unfolds.
Here is an part of our interview with Steven (great guy by the way!):
Unlike most aspiring filmmakers trying to break through with a digitial video production, Stevan chose to make his personally financed debut movie on 35mm Kodak film. Most go to DV since it is cheaper and they can shoot as much as they want. Steve wanted 35mm and the great quality shows in the films trailer. With that said it also limited Steve since with no budget you cant be shooting 15-20 takes. Its a 1 or 2 take deal and you hope you got it.

Check out the trailer, this looks to be a GREAT horror flick!
