GODZILLA:FINAL WARS to fight American Godzilla?

On Yahoo Japan, there's a story that In GODZILLA:FINAL WARS, the original Godzilla is to fight the Tri Star Godzilla.

Basically, Monster X is the American Godzilla!

Foy, any truth to this rumor?

I thought that Monster X was going to be the new version of Ghidora.

The promo pictures of Monster X showed it to look like the Tri Star Godzilla anyway, so...

I also heard that Monster X was going to be an updated Ghidora, but now, who the hell knows what's going on.

The Tristar monster is in there, but I believe Monster X is something else. I get the impression Toho are including the US Godzilla more as a put-down than as a surprise. Given most Godzilla fans reactions to the Emmerich version, I doubt they'd use it as the "big bad" in the final G movie.

Unless Toho are using it as a metaphor for Japan overcoming the superiority of the American country and its attempts to govern the world while using double standards.

I haven't seen any of the new "Godzilla" movies since G2000, but God-DAMN I gotta see this one! Fuckin' killer!
