Choose the true winner. Results will be mailed to the Sci-Fi Channel so they can decide their next movie of the week.

Ferrets

I'm offended that you don't have ferrets as one of your choices in the poll (well, not really ).

Nothing sez horror like a ferocious army of revenous ferrets.

Believe me...

internet nerds.
internet nerds mate (well it is sci-fi) with south american soccer supporters creating a species of super-ferocious nerds with the physical fitness levels to actually leave their basements. they attack hollywood and the studios scramble to digitally re-edit their genre films to make the nerds happy.

the collective name would be a wank of internet nerds.

As for the poll, i'd say rabbits, but that's been done.

you do like your stupid questions, Werbal.

You know, beetles are actually kind of creepy things. They could probably be well-used in a horror movie.

Although chicken armageddon would be interested. Everyone would be baffled to death. No one could fight back. You would just lay there getting pecked with a stupid look on your face thinking...are chickens eating me? Really?

Peter Cushing already made a killer moth movie back in 1968 - The Blood Beast Terror.

Yeah, but unless you count "The Mothman Prophecies" it's been a good while since we had a nice killer moth movie. Not nearly as much as bees and ants anyways.

They were, in Mimic.

Mimic were giant roaches, weren't they?

I was thinking more along the lines of giant dung beetles, killing humans and then rolling them up into giant balls of flesh and shit to be hosts to even MORE giant beetle spawn.

They could even have that part in the film where they realize the monster is trying to strengthen themselves somehow.

"Mayor Laramie! I've charted the beetle's path on this map using this felt-tip pen! The beetles are clearly headed straight for the Sleepylittletown Septic and Waste Water treatment facility!"

"My God...."

"That's right! If they reach the shit stored up in these reservoir tanks they will be able to make 10,000 poo-balls which would each hold THOUSANDS of young beetlings! They could easily replace man as the dominant species on this planet."

Lenny-"Oh no! Sharks! The killers of the seas. Oh wait, it's just Dolphins. The clowns of the sea!"

You can figure what happens next.

Dude, an army of bears sounds goofy, but when they are surrounding you, that's some scary shit.

I'm about to reveal just how much of a nerd I am... my character in D&D was a half-elf ranger who eventually had a small army of bears at his beck and call.

Damn right that was scary shit. No one fucked with me!

... in the game. In real life, I'm a human hackeysack.
