TightLip Entertainment presents The Spooky!
The Spooky! is upstate NY's only HORRORGASM!

Being held in Syracuse over the 23rd and 24th
of October (2004), it promises to be one of the
main horror events of the fall, with a growing
Friday the 13th cast reunion in place, with more stars
being confirmed everyday!

Not to mention a strong line up of horror comic
artists and publishers. The Spooky is a
horror event you can't miss!

**

Adrienne King << JUST CONFIRMED!
Thats right, Adrienne King has just confirmed for The Spooky. She is the original Friday the 13th Scream Queen and the Spooky will only be her second convention to date. The Spooky weekend will ironically coincide with the E! channel's "Scream Queen" program, Which Adrienne has now been officially dubbed by the business...."what is going on?"...

Lar Park Lincoln
Lar played the telekinetic match for Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 7: The New Blood. A favourite with the fans, Lar makes this her second convention appearance. If you don't attend, and stir her temper you had better nail down your furniture, or suffer the consequences...

CJ Graham
Regarded by many as the best man for the job, CJ played the infamous Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives. Getting his break in the movie after the first choice didn't cut it on set. He has only done a handful of convention appearances to date, you can catch him at The Spooky this year!

Richard Brooker
Richard played Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 3: 3D. Perhaps the hardest movie to play Jason in, due to the complex shots for the 3D effects. This is his first East Coast convention appearance, make sure that you attend the show!

Warrington Gillette
Another major fan favourite, Warrington had the honour of playing the original adult Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 2. Maybe the best -or more fitting- sequel to the original classic, Friday the 13th. Warrington has a movie in the works called "Bloody Social", which you can hear all about at The Spooky!

Bill Randolph
Playing Jeff in Friday th 13th Part 2, Bill had the honour of being one -of two- of the opening characters in Part 2 -along with screen girlfriend Sarah (Marta Kober). He also has the honour of being at the butt end of one of Jason's most infamous kills: the double impalement in the sack (ouch!). This will be his first convention appearanceas far as we know!

Stu Charno
Playing Ted in Friday the 13th Part 2, we don't only have a Friday the 13th reunion of sorts, but almost a mini Friday the 13th Part 2 reunion! Ted was the ultimate joker of the Friday movies, "whats green and red and goes a hundred miles an hour? A frog in a blender!" He also managed to escape Jason's wrath in a drunken stupour, a feat that most fail. This will be his first convention, make sure you make it along to meet the funny man in person!

There are more Friday the 13th guests to be confirmed, however at this point only the above are 100% confirmed.

Also appearing, on the comic/horror art side of things...

Miguel Insignares
Miguel Insignares Brings DAWN OF THE DEAD comic book to the MMC/Spooky! Miguel A. Insignares' broad range in comic books, broadcasting, and multi-media entertainment has positioned him as a leader of today's visual creatives. His newest endeavor, MIG.BIZ, LLC, is the newest force in cutting-edge, high quality graphic entertainment. MIG.BIZ is proud to debut their first publication based on the Universal Studios film DAWN OF THE DEAD. Miguel Insignares' artwork can also be seen in the 2004 action film THE PUNISHER based on the popular Marvel Comics character.

**

Basil Gogos
"World's Greatest Famous Monster Artist..." We're pleased to announce that the "World's Greatest Famous Monster Artist," Mr. Basil Gogos, will be joining us in Syracuse this October! "During the heyday of the vingage era fright-film, [Mr. Gogos] excelled in painting monster portraits... from book and magazine covers, to editorials, movie and theater posters, to portraits, murals and even ad agency work."

**

And to add to the growing list...

**

Jami Deadly
I take great pleasure in announcing that Jami Deadly will be guesting and helping to MC at portions of the October MMC/Spooky on the 23rd and 24th.
Jami is a very versatile addition to the guest roster, as I'm sure you can tell. Along with hosting her own horror show in the heart of Texas. She also makes appearances as a very convincing, almost erie, impersonation of Marilyn Monroe.

Jami has offered to help out during the various convention segments during the convention and I think The Spooky might've just found its first poster girl. She'll also be performing an ADULTS ONLY burlesque performance on Saturday evening. She has websites here:

Robyn Griggs
Robyn has joined the guest lineup for October! Come meet this excitingly charming star of leading roles on the daytime soaps. She played Stephanie Hobart (Carlos niece/ first one to murder him) on ONE LIFE TO LIVE ABC and the rebellious teen Maggie Cory on ANOTHER WORLD NBC. Plus - She has a skeleton or two in her closet. Come meet her 'Spooky' side.

There are many more guests arranged and to be confirmed. There will be dealer tables, exhibitors and also an auction to raise money for St Judes Children Hospital, with items being donated by the guests for auction (SEE BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS ON THIS). Furthermore, there will be a party on the Saturday night, with a live band (ALSO SEE BELOW).

THE PARTY

Saturday night at 7pm until 9pm, there is a charity auction to benefit the St Jude Children's Hospital, specifically the kid's cancer efforts. I have lots of comics related items thus far but not much in the way of horror memorabilia ... so I'm hoping the exhibitors and guests will be kind and kick in an item or two that day or before then. Anyone interested in helping out can send item(s) to me at: TightLip Entertainment, 70 West Main Street, Mohawk, New York 13407-1031. Attn: Rick Olney. Thank you.

After the auction, the PARTY will run until close. Probably carry over into a room or two, if need be. It'll be a cash bar, but I plan to try and be as generous as possible. It isn't an open party, so if you're a Pitter and you're comin' ... email me at: the_spooky2005@yahoo.com to get on the entrance list. You must be of 21 years of age to drink.
