Best use of "curtain call"/"roll call" end credits

Memphis Belle
Dazed and Confused
M*A*S*H* (Altman's)
Kelly's Heroes
Red Dawn
Kill Bills
League of Their Own
Ghostbusters
Airplane
Bend it Like Beckham

(When thinking especially of Memphis Belle and Dazed and Confused… look at how “nobody” those casts were and how they were able to build careers with the help of those roles.)

What else is there?
I know Predator, Riding in Cars with Boys, and Scream also use the technique...

Can you clarify what it is? Where you see the people's headshots or the credits at the end of the movie?

Mel Brooks' Spaceballs.

Also, The Princess Bride.

Yeah... a still, (ala Red Dawn), or a snippet of footage used along with the name card, (ala Dazed and Confused.)

Princess Bride... GREAT call.

Okay....Lemme Think....
Charlie's Angels (Which is also the blooper reel)
Of course, I'd have to say that Phantom of the Paradise is a tossup....for one thing, it's a tragic ending, but it's set to upbeat piano pop....Further proof DePalma was on something....

Ok... add The Great Escape and Galaxy Quest to the list.

God, what movie had the role call at the end, where every character would "notice" the camera, then smile and wink or act really cheesy?
"Best" use? Fuck man, ANY use of those end credits usually indicates me that the filmmakers give more than a passing shit.

The Devils Brigade...if you haven't seen it track down a copy...true story...awesome WWII movie...and same kind of sequence at the end.

Listen to the lyrics of the song, it's right up there with "Bad Moon Rising" as far as pairing dark, bitter lyrics with an oh-so-hummable melody.

Good for nothin'
Bad in bed
Nobody likes you
And you're better off dead
We've all come to say
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

Didn't Police Academy have this style of end credits?
Blues Brothers--everyone singing "Jailhouse Rock".

Ghostbusters--of course.

Royal Tenenbaums had a great opening roll call.

My vote goes for Waynes World and Ghostbusters.

Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back

Return of the King hands down.

Good point.

Awesome! I love those curtain calls.

You can add:

Jerry & Tom
Johnny Dangerously
Hairspray
Mad Dog Time/Trigger Happy

Didn't The Rocky Horror Picture Show have a roll call?
Snatch had a swell roll call, too, and Trainspotting had a lovely curtain call, but those sort of blur the lines a bit, as Snatch only named characters and Trainspotting only used stills.

MALLRATS. Jason Lee hosting The Tonight Show and Ben Affleck being anally raped with Weezer blaring in the background.

Honorable mention to Scrooged w/Bill Murray leading the singing, I enjoyed that.

That part makes me cry. Especially where the kid says "God bless us. Everyone."
"1941": Every actor is shown screaming in terror while John Williams' amazing, rousing score plays in the background.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the movies "Saving Silverman" and "Josie and the Pussycats" had some, where the guys and their spouses are performing with Neil Diamond in the first one and the girls performing their theme song in the second.
Can't believe I forgot this one -- Buckaroo Banzai. Everyone just strutting along to the theme song.

Con Air.

Let's reflect on how we fell in love with these murding bastards of the skies. Spitters and Shitters alike.

Wet Hot American Summer

Nobody's mention Coming to America. With the African beats in the background then the joke at the end. Aha, Aha.

I would have agreed with you if the curtain call credits hadn't left out Christopher Lee just because he wasn't in the regular cut of the movie. A shame.

Then just wait for the extended edition for all your Lee/Dourif needs.
