Okay, so I'm up in my dorm room playing Age of Mythology against my friend online, when all of a sudden my roommate and 2 mutual friends come busting in looking wicked shook up. Especially my roommate, he's having a panic attack and apparently he almost fainted in the elevator going up.
So I ask them what happened, and they say that while they were chillin' outside the main entrance to the dorm building there's this black hispanic guy shambling around the doors completely trashed. I mean he's fuckin' drunk to all hell. So a cop goes up to the drunk and tells him to leave. The drunk thinks he's being arrested and demands to see the warrant, or "papers." The cop demands that the guy get off the premises or he will arrest him, and the drunk continuously demands to see the papers and won't shift in the right direction to get cuffed.
Now my friends are about 6 feet away from them while this is going on watching.
So the cop, annoyed by the harmless-but-bothersome drunk's behavior, says "I'm gonna break your wrist," and then does so, and then slams the guy down facefirst onto the pavement so hard that he started bleeding heavily from his face and mouth. My friends at that point got the hell out of there, but he wasn't moving at all when they left. At all.
They run up and tell me. Now I get pissed. I tell them to write it down exactly as they saw it, and meanwhile I ran downstairs to see what's going on. By the time I get there the cops are gone and they've removed the guy and arrested him. The security guard downstairs said that the cop said that "the guy slipped."
Tomorrow I'm calling my uncle who's a cop 'cause he'll know who to take this to. But this fucking bastard is not getting away with this. And he's fucking unlucky, too. He's unlucky that I wasn't there at the time because now all I can do is report this and hopefully get him investigated and maybe even kicked off the force. If he had been lucky I'd have been there at the time and nothing would be reported because I'd be in jail for assaulting a police officer.
I tell ya man cops like these are making it harder for all the good ones, because it just means more shit is gonna get shovelled their way reputation wise. But hell if I'm not gonna do my damnedest to get this fucker nailed.
