So who here thinks that blond chick is hott?

Also, what's the deal with the weird Dr. Who alternate ending? Anyone seen this?

Alternate ending? NEver heard of that. Must know more!

Besides the blonde chick how's the movie? I've picked it up several times at the store only to put it down again.

It's a good decent flick. It's a Disney film. But it is one of their darker ones.

I think Disney's 'The Black Hole' was a much better film from their "dark" period. I felt that the end of 'Watcher In the Woods' was so hokey.

I think if you're under the age of fourteen and haven't already been desensitized by horror flicks, Watcher in the Woods can be kind of creepy. I found the Black Hole to be too ahead of its time with the special effects they had to work with back then.

Holy cow! When I first saw this film, about age 8, it scared the bejesus out of me, and gave me a terrible fear of woods. I always remembered the 'prescence' watching the kids, and was scared that every time I was near a group of trees, even in someone's front yard, they'd be this evil thing watching me....blimey. Then I saw it again properly a few years ago and thought it was rather weird, and cool.

I loved the Black Hole as a kid. It definitely creeped me out. I'll have to rent this Watcher in the Woods sometime and check it out.

Lynn Holly Johnson is the hot chick and back in the day she was fucking piping hot!

Love The Black Hole. I wish someone would explain that mind-fuck ending.

Well, it was definately creepy at some points, but terrifying? Not really, there wasn't a true evil in the movie. It's still a fabulous film, very interesting and dark.

I still haven't had an explanation on this alternative ending yet?

There's a really creepy creature that shows up, much more frightening than the ball of light in the theatrical ending. The creature grabs the girl and she appears in a Dr. Who like alternate dimention where the lady's daughter is trapped in some time bubble. The creature releases the girl and she runs into the bubble thus returning the lost daughter.

Ohh, did anyone think that old ladies missing daughter was rather mannish?
