What am I gonna do? Going out of town tomorrow for a week, first to Tucson for my wife's Aunt's 80th birthday party then on to Mesa for a few days. I've been a daily reader of this site for years but only got into the Message Boards recently. I'm hooked on 'em now & I am sure as hell gonna miss my fix.
I suppose I'll have plenty to read when I get back but I'm gonna miss my daily fix. Wife's been talking about getting a laptop & I found myself agreeing with her, if she knew what I'd REALLY be doing with it while we're away she'd be rolling her eyes like crazy! Heh.
I did treat myself to a nice little camcorder for the trip, got it on Ebay for a steal. About $150 less than retail for a new unit. Be useful for a trip to the Grand Canyon & Meteor Crater on the way out (always wanted to see that). Oh yeah, and for filming drunk old people for our amusement at a later date. If any Chewers have any advice on editing software etc, I'd appreciate it.
Finally, I hope I'll be too busy to read but I will be taking a book with me. I know, sounds lame but it IS The Dark Tower 7. Ain't been reading quick enough to finish it before we go, unless I burn my eyes out tonight !
So that's my whining done. Now, point me in the direction of Arizona & I'm gonna be off.....I hear there's gonna be beer at this party, and a hotel room for us after. YES!!
