it a movie pub quiz.
It's in highgate, once a month, in 'the boogaloo' which is a stupid name but it used to be 'the shepherds' which is apparantly the pub 'The Winchester' from Shaun of the Dead (though there is a pub called the winchester just down the road from it) was based on.
it's a pound to enter, at half time he gives away free videos (i think the organisers get a lot of free review copies of things) - videos like donnie darko and master and commander, though i got '666 - the baby of death' and the top three prizes this month were a bottle of champagne, a ps2 and £300 of soft core porn.
they had a video screen and jude law asked us a question:
'what other film did i appear in with Gweneth Paltrow and what was my character's name?' - no peeking on IMDB.
i came 6th out of twenty teams and i was pretty much by myself. think of the smackdown a chud.com team could give.
So: london chewers (straxboy? Dan Whitehead? the ones who can speak in whole sentences) i have a table booked for next month (3rd nov i think) wanna come?
