Did anyone watch any of this? I missed it completely. Is it worth a buy this Tuesday?

Not worth the buy, IMO.

It started off really interesting and fun, but then it fell to the wayside.

I'm currently on the 3rd disc right now. Enjoying it much more than I thought I would, being a huge fan of the original swedish version. At least they threw a lot of money into the making of it, special effects and cinematography are done rather well.
And for once I think I'm actually enjoying an Andrew McCarthy performance...
Course its not really scary at all, but fun and unpredictable.

I'd say to avoid that DVD, Floyd. I'm a huge fan of King's, but I was not able to finish watching that show. I made it through several numbing hours of it and I finally gave up hope when the doctors and nurses did a musical number with one of the patients. I just didn't give a damn what was going on and I was forcing myself to watch it each week.
