Canada needs to buy a real calendar. Always a month ahead, and a hockey puck too short.

Well sorta...he's a 1st Gen Canadian...his daddy was in the German army during WWII...immigrated...Polish mail order bride...the works

HAPPY TURKEY SLAUGHTER DAY!

The worst part about this day is that if you have no family to celebrate it with, than you are pretty much screwed; everything is closed! Well almost everything, I think I will go visit my girlfriend at Dairy Queen and score some free Blizzards. Nothing says Thanksgiving like fake ice cream stuffed with cheesecake!

Canadian Thanksgiving is always on a Monday. Three-day weekends work out well.

It's such a perfect day for Thanksgiving here in Ottawa. The sky is gray, but the leaves so colourful, and the air is somewhat cold that it just makes for a perfect fall day.

And Thanksgiving marks the first Tofurkey of the season! And I'm dead serious that I'm excited by that.

It's technically on Monday, but a lot of people have dinner on Sunday or even Saturday, I don't know why.
