Hey there. Yes I know this movie has been talked about to death but I recently watched it again and I've got an interesting question.
*****spoilers (yes It's old I know but..)**********

At the end, we find out Malcom is dead. Now, one thing got me thinking. Did Malcom not realize something was wrong when his wife went for weeks without talking to him... or ANYONE else talking to him for that matter. Secondly, how did he get Cole as a patient? How did they meet?
I guess it doesn't really matter. My question for all of you is did it matter? Did the obvious plot holes and leaps of logic bother you in anyway or hinder your enjoyment of this movie? Were you able to look past them? Further more, do you think it matters? There are plot holes. so what.
Do you think a horror/thriller movie can be successful dispite plot holes as long as it has sympathetic characters and a good story?
