Allright, I haven't been so excited waiting for a game in such a long time, and I don't know what I'm going to play first: XBox Live or Single Player.

What are you all going to do?

Single player. Partially because I don't have (or want) Live, with its population of cretinous twelve-year-old vermin (and the occasional other person from CHUD, but still... I have a low tolerance for today's youth), but mostly because Bungie has never failed to hook me with the story in their games. And I want to see if any of the ilovebees radio drama stuff makes it into the actual game... it would be hilarious to end up going on a mission with Jan and her mom or something...

Yeah

The vermin on Live are everywhere. My friends and I all got it just so we don't have to buy multitaps or system link, but when they're not on and I go on there, it's usually torture and I take my headset off. But when this game comes out I'll be playing online with all my friends, it'll be a blast. And when nobody is on, it's single player time.

I will definately check out the single player first, just to get re-acclimate myself with the controls. Besides, I have no competition here at school so I need to brush up on my skills and such.

I'm going to jump right into the XBL mix on this one I think. That is, provided I can get my internet to work right again before then. Right now, though, my plan is to let Halo 2 own me for the first couple of nights I have it. I can't fucking wait.

the fact that i have a test the november 12th tells me i will spend a few hours on Live from midnight november 9th till a little later, and then just study till the 12th is over, and hit up some single player.

Single Player, because the minute I go on Live some fucking prick will spoil the plot thinking he's hilarious, I can guarantee it.

I plan to go on Xbox Live the moment (well aprox. 12 min. - the time it takes to get from the store to my room) I get the game. I'll get my ass kicked and recieve a very low ranking but fuck it.

I'm guessing I'll actually be playing the local multiplayer game first to get acquainted with the various maps. A buddy of mine has already blocked out his day to plant himself on my couch and engage in some friendly fire. Once we get a handle on the layouts of the maps, we may move on to the Live connection.
