where's the chud love for this little game? Presently waiting on the local comp store to get it in but look forward to playing this (after catching up with work & reviewing)...anything to tide me over till halo-life 2 comes out.

Try the Demo HERE!

It's a fun little game. Not much to it though - it soon becomes a bit repetitive as you raise money, build room, train goons, raise money...

It's also a shame that the global missions your henchmen undertake are represented by a rather bland map screen where all you can do is sit and watch a timer to see if they succeed, as that's where the fun stuff shoud really kick in. The concept and attention to detail keeps it from getting too stale though.

A cute diversion, but with everything that's coming out in the next month, I wouldn't rush out to buy it. Wait for it to be reduced in price, post-Xmas, and it'll be a much more worthwhile prospect to keep you amused during the Jan/Feb dead zone.

I was expecting it to be a nice cheapie 20-30 dollar diversion, but looking at the price it gets at most retail outlets...$50, I may hold off. especially with Bard's Tale coming out this week.

a shame about the global missions.

$50? Wow. That's pricey. I'm pretty sure it's a semi-budget release in the UK, though our games tend to get their prices slashed pretty fast, usually in the first month.
