What are you doing for Halloween?

Anybody have anything good planned yet?

As for myself, I think I'm going to rent a bunch of horror films this weekend and get together with some of my friends to watch them. I'll probably get a mix of ones I have and haven't seen. I need to rent Black Christmas because it's been practically a Halloween tradition for a few years now (it's strange to have a Halloween tradition based around a film with the word "Christmas" in it). I'll probably get the third Ginger Snaps films as well considering that it's the only one I haven't seen yet. I can't really think of any other newer realeases that I should get. Any one know of a good one? I haven't seen House of the Dead or The Order just yet............................................... .....

I'll probably watch some Freddy films as well, but I already own the DVD box set, so I don't have to worry about renting those. Wes Craven's New Nightmare deserves much more credit than it gets. It's just a very well thoughout film. It's very creepy as well.

Whiskey, strippers, and candy corn. When I get home, I'll watch as many horror movies as I can before I black out. Pretty much the same thing that I do every year.

I'm working from 8 to 4 Halloween day, then a bunch of my friends insist on coming over and staying all night to drink and destroy my basement, then at 5am I have to get up to go to work again. Halloween sucks ass.

- putz around the house until about 3

- go to where my wife works so she can paint me up (going as Hellboy)

- costume party/pub crawl at tavern from 4-9

- 9 pm have tickets to see Parliament-Funkadelic, I'm going IN COSTUME, because I figure if there's any concert you can show up to dressed f'n weird and fit in, it's P-Funk

- stay 2-3 hrs at show, back out to party until bartime/wife or I drop

Next weekend my friends and I have our annual Halloween filmfest (Splatterfest) which is in costume, many orror flicks, food, and alcohol, and never fails to be a good time.

Well, I wasted most of my day today at the HorrorFind convention here in AZ. Wow. And not in a good way... Things did not go as planned for the folks over at HorrorFind. Attendance was very low. Marriot apparently bent them over nicely. There were less than 10 vendors.

I don't think it was much fault on their part though. This was the first time they hosted here in the desert.

I did, however, get to meet F. Paul Wilson and John Skipp! Outstanding!

Oh and I happened upon the director of the independant film I had a part in and got a DVD of 'Autopsy: A Love Story'. Let me tell you, it is odd seeing yourself in widescreen for the first time...

Anyway taking the chillens out tonight for some mischief.

I hope everyone has a horrifying Halloween!

I'm dragging my coffin out and putting an animation that I bought in it. I already have my 8 Legged Freaks Orb Weaver out front, with a make shift grave yard. I may put on my zombie suit and scare teens that venture onto my path. I'll post a few picks later.

Huh. That's odd. Every year, the doorbell rings, I answer the door and shout BOO! and they take off running down the street. I'm not in a costume.

At any rate - Happy Halloween, everyone!

Just gunna watch a bunch of horror movies. I'd like to do something more but I have to get up for school tommorow. You would think a catholic school would get All Saints Day off, but no.

Getting set for trick or treating kickoff at 3pm with the kids. I have a Batman and a knight. Next year I think it'll be time for a zombie and a vampire. They still don't like scary things dammit. Then it's watching some more football and a late night showing of Dawn of the Dead '04.

Hope you post some pics Bill. I bet Halloween at your house is a great time.

Coulda been better - we met two of our friends at the show, and it turned out one of them had hearing in only one ear and forgot his earplugs, so he was wanting to go pretty quick and my wife was like "I just want to go home", so I only caught maybe an hour or so of what was probably a 3-4 hour show.

Of course, after I dropped off the wife, I went back out and hooked up with these two OTHER friends of ours, who happen to be rather attractive little betties, and hung out with them for the rest of the night. It was good for the ego.
