OXM Halo 2 Review/PoP Demo Disc

9.7 for Halo 2. The reviewer loved everything about it except for the end. Sounds good to me. Also has the first review for PoP2 and gives it a 9.3, so it's a good month for Xbox.

Prince of Persia 2 on the demo disc. Oughtta be nice.

Don't waste 15 minutes trying to unlock the easter egg demo..it ain't H2. Some Japanese game called Phantom Dust. No subtitles, couldn't understand what was going on...pissed me right the fuck off.

EDIT: Sorry, 9.6 for Prince of Persia 2, not 9.3.

Did you buy this or do you have a subscription? Hoping mine comes in the mail this week. I'm really looking forward to the PoP2 demo. Played the pc flavor, but the controls were not intuitive at all.

Any other good demos on the disc?

Other Demos:
Dead or Alive Ultimate (Okay...a lot of button mashing. Pretty. Might be fun on Live.)
The Incredibles (nice presentation, but the camera is really, really annoying and the game play seemed just OK.)
Dukes of Hazzard (strangely enjoyable, though the control sucks ass and it seemed pretty derivative)
Prince of Persia: WW (seems really fun, but since I never played the first one, I kept dying a lot. Really, really nice presentation and transitions.)
ESPN NFL 2k5 (ehhh...seems stiff and distanced from the action compared to my beloved NCAA. Couldn't complete a single pass. Also, to save space I imagine, there's no commentary.)
Conflict: Vietnam (I just hated this.)

Hey, eyeball, did you have any problems with this disc locking up? The PoP demo has crashed for me twice in a row. It's like OXM is *begging* me to cancel my subscription.

Slater, the OXM discs are notorious for being unable to load/locking up. That's where the whole "boiling the disc" thing came from. Apparantly there is often a thin residue left on the discs that needs to be cleaned off, and standard disc cleaners won't do the trick.

I know how silly it sounds, but trust me, it really does work. I've had to boil about one out of every four discs I get in order for them to work. PM me if you want to hear more about how to do it.

DOAU- Fought a chick dressed as Catwoman, pretty cool.

Dukes of Hazzard- You can really grind the sides of the storm drain. Tony Hawk style.

The Incredibles- Hopped on the flying disc, got confused what to do next. Got killed.
