um, cool toys?

Man, I need to start putting together a Christmas list. The number of young'uns in my extended family are growing at a frightening pace.

Can anyone let me know what inexpensive ($15 or under) toys are cool? I want to be the cool aunt/cousin!

I am in the same boat. Have you gotten the toys r us toy book in the mail yet? That always has the bestest stuff and I think the prices have become a lot more compareable also. The toy book had a $10 coupon on it -tho I'm not sure when it expires. I was in there last weekend and they had a lot of great sales. Hope this helps!

Not sure how young you're talking, but the coolest toys I've seen lately are the Stikfas line of action figure kits. They have a kit called the Mechana Segmented Robot that is all kinds of cool. And the new Cowboy and Indian kits are hilarious. Assembly is definitely required.

Oh man... those Stikfas are on those plastic grids. Always hated taking things off of those.

How old are we talking?

These are really cool for the very young Star Wars fan, or if they prefer superheroes than the Spider-Man and Friends range is pretty groovy as well. They also do Hulk and Captain America in a similar style.

Those SW toys are awesome. I'm no longer collecting, but if I was, they'd be straight in me trolley.
