That's alright, I get a lot of condom jokes (Akron, OH - Rubber Capital) and burning river jokes (Cuyahoga River catches on fire.. I mean come on, it can happen to any river....right?) Not to mention that I swear the only game on ESPN Classic is the Bronco's comeback against the Browns (The Mother F'N Drive..arghh)

Interesting that your from Akron. I graduated from OU, and the great people of Ohio were the ones who always brought up that quote.

As a pre-emptive defense for my piss-poor showing on the game I just played against Slater, 86 and some other guys - that was literally my first time playing Halo 2. I'd just signed up for Live, popped Halo 2 in the Xbox and saw the invite from Slater and jumped right in.

Haven't even started the single player campaign yet, no idea what the maps are like, can't even remember how to swap weapons or jump, so it was kind of me versus learning curve, with me getting shotgunned in the face every 10 seconds.

Once I get a headset and some refresher time on the solo game, I will be awesome.

Oh yes.

I had a lot of fun dominating you all in Ninjanaut mode tonight in Slater's game.

Also, I would like to take credit for returning the RED flag every time so that my team could score and win.

Finally, I captured the flag twice without much resistance.

Fun playing with you bunch of guys... whoever you were.

That was some hellacious CTF on Colossus and Broken Mounds today. Made me realise that I REALLY need a headset so I can call out incoming enemies to my teammates.

Oh yeah, and the Bungie.net thing my my name was a byproduct of me signing up for the ultra-sweet Bungie.net stat system. I don't actually work for Bungie (though that'd rock).

Definite good time last night. First playing in Nick's game (deadly cleavage?) then ending up in Slater's game.. That is a lot of CHUD people out there as I think both were full. Still not sold on Ninjanaut and Swords (probably cause I suck with a sword) but I did have my highest kill total ever in Rockets, so that was cool.

Absolutely love CTF (one flag) on Zanzibar - that map seems made for CTF. Also the flag runs on Coagulation in the Warthog are a blast. You feel like you are driving for your life across that open field..

I should be on this weekend a lot (mostly in the evening) so I hope to see some of you on there...

Ghost Jacking is my passion. Last night, I forget who it was, we traded ghosts about 3 times. It was hilarious. Swearing and laughing ensued.

I also tried jacking a tank but every time I hopped on and started fisting the "cockpit", the guy got out and I'd hop out and start shooting. Then the guy would get back in and it would start all over again.

"Highest IQ playing Halo..." Yeah, I remember that. Helluva good time. Is there a term for killing someone with the skull (Oddball)? 'Cause there should be. I submit "skullfucked." Because it felt good when I skullfucked someone in our Oddball game. The only downside was the 16 player free for all. Was the level just not made for 16 players is why we had to wait our turn to kill? Other than that, groovy. I intend to play again tonight.

Hey, billy, what was your name and where you in Nick's game? I ghost swapped on the CTF 1 flag map with someone. Jacking rocks.

I could only be in for a couple games last night... had to cheer up the little one who doesn't know how to use his aposable thumbs to play yet. It was fun while playing, though. I plan on getting a ton of killing in this weekend.

I only have one ethernet cable so i'll have to switch between internet and the Xbox so I may not be on a lot this weekend, but for can members they should best group up with Slater ad enter the clan matchmaker cause really slater is better at leading a team to victory then me.

I'm also staff now [thanks Nick] so if you see me on there and you're not entered in the clan yet I can send you a clan invite.

I'm picking up my live subscription on the way home tonight. I have a question though, will I have to input everyone's name into my friends list manually or will all Clan members names automatically be entered in for me?

If I asked this already I'm sorry but I'm dumb and it's Monday morning, bleck.

So yesterday during a team Oddball match, I had the skull and I was hiding behind a wall when someone on the other team spotted me. He was some little voicecracking pipsqueak. I heard him say, "I found the faggot with the ball."

I didn't take kindly to the gay bashing, so I bashed him over the head with the skull and ended his young life.

When you are part of the clan you can see when all the clan memebers are on and as long as they are in a regular game you can hop in. Plus frequent messages to "join party" are sent to clan members when spots in the game become available.

It saves a heck of a lot of time when it comes to finding "friends"

This is why I have no desire to play online with anyone but CHUD guys. I'm an anti-social fucker at the best of times, and I have zero interest in wasting my free time being irritated by pubescent strangers.

"Do swords. Do swords. Do swords." Some 13-year old idiot kept demanding that we play a swords only match...even though we had just played a swords only match. Nobody else wanted to. He kept delaying the countdown, gradually pissing off everyone in the room. I booted him, but he managed to rejoin and delay the countdown again before we could start. I finally gave up party control in frustration.

Actually, we had a lot of dicks in that particular group, if I remember. Some of you folks have some real "winners" on your friends lists. We may have to start running a few "invite only" matches to keep the idiots out.

Although I mentioned it on the Headset thread, I thought it was particularly annoying when a few of us Chewers had a clan match (I believe it was Capture the Flag) against another clan. Time ran out and we lost 1 to 0. At that point the other clan started saying things like, "Y'all should bring your game back to the store and ask for your $50 back." Yeah, your one whole point really shows your dominance in the game, jerks.

At that point we decided we would be assholes. However, being the nice guys we are, we had trouble coming up with good asshole lines. I think the best we managed was, "Hey, you are a bad bad man."

Again, even when we go up against other clans, I've not heard ANYONE say anything bad post match. We might make a little fun of someone's gamer tag over the Team chat line, but that's about as bad as it gets. And hey, if you go by the name BadAssSk8r, you deserve a little ridicule.

Oh, I hate it, too, but you know what's great? Being on a team full of chewers working together against assholes like that. When you set up the clan matchmaking, you won't have to worry about much discussion save for a few small in game moments and a few seconds after the match is over. At one point I was called "retard" because I didn't realize that we were in a CTF match with only one flag on the board at a time (Rounds alternating with Offense and Defense). After we won, I got to ask who the retard was. That was about as harsh as I could get, but it was satisfying.

I have a couple of people that I prefer not to play with on my friends list (but I must keep them, it's a long story - distant family thing).. anyway I have my online status set to look like I am offline and then I join usually join a CHUD game. Now if I can't join (private game, clan match) then I usually go back like I am online and play until I get an invite (then I call my "buddy" and say how tired and I am and I got hit the sack) from one of the CHUD's.. then I switch my status to offline again and go beat up on 14 year olds named badasssk8tr, pumpk8tr, or some other silly names)

All this to keep people happy and still be able to play Halo 2... go figure!

And yes there are a lot of asshole teenagers on halo 2 which is why I thank God I found Chud 4-5 years ago in preparation for a Halo 2 clan. Playing with you guys is always hilarious yet never annoying. I was playing last night with a Storn (chewer) and a few other random guys who were actually really great and didn't make me want to bash my tv in.
