AICN has an early review:

The way the plot was described makes it sound awfully similar to Spirited Away.
nonetheless i am an endless fan of Miyazaki. is everyone else too?

And will this be his last film?

I'm also very excited and you can bet I'll be there opening day here. In another thread I put this first on my most anticipated movies of 2005. I didn't really read the review, just kind of skimmed through it because I don't really want any spoilers, but I never really got much of a Spirited Away impression from what I've read thus far.

Also, I don't think it will be his last film. I'm certainly hoping it's not, but I really don't think it will be. He just seems to love the movies to much to stop now and on the documentary on the Spirited Away DVD he seemed pretty sharp still.

Well he keeps saying each film will be his last. we can only hope. There aren't any real spoilers in the review, only a set up of the first act and, as we know, just explaining some of the plot hardly tells you anything about the wonders you find in his films.

Desperately want his other films on DVD. Maybe the release of this will spur the owners of the films to release them over here is England.
There's a thread about some of them being released in February (I think) though still no 'Totorro'.

ARRRGHHH!

I used to have the four disc bootleg version of the Studio Ghibli collection, back when Princess Mononoke was the only one on DVD, and then I bought the new DVDs as they came out. But then they all got stolen and I have to buy the American versions again. Anyway, my point is that those discs were pretty cool. Relatively poor quality, but an excellent way to watch the films you don't have until they are released.
