I, for one, have enjoyed my PS2 the entire time I've had it. For about 3 years, it's worked fine. However, now it is scratching my disks. I could pay a bunch to fix it, but I figure I'll just get a new one. They're cheap enough now. The question: do I get the old, reliable model (as reliable as a PS2 could be) or do I go for the new slimline model. I've heard the new flip top could keep the thing from scratching disks, but I've also heard it has overheating issues. But it does have a built in network adaptor, and the new Ratchet and Clank game supports that. Anyone with any experience know if a slimline PS2 would be worth it, or if I should just buy a new, original model PS2?
