KMart & Sears to merge in $11 billion deal
Quote:
The combined company is expected to have $55 billion in annual revenues, 2,350 full-line and off-mall stores, and 1,100 specialty retail stores. That will mean it will trail only Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Target Corp. among the biggest U.S. retailers.
Sear Mart or Kears? Either works for me.

edited to say: fuck those.... S-Mart!!!! We can now offcially "shop smart at s-mart"

It doesn't really matter. Wal-mart will still drive the company out of business.

Malls are on their way out. The only malls that will be left in a few years are upscale malls with fancy, expensive brands and stores aimed at the rich. Cheap mall stores can't compete with internet sales and mega stores like Wal-mart and Target.

Does this mean we'll see a zombie movie which takes place inside an Amazon warehouse?

Definitely. This is most likely also a contributing factor to the setting of the latest Silent Hill: The Room.
