Any one ever see this? I just rented it over the weekend. It was one of the most over-the-top horror films I've ever seen, but that's the beauty of it. The film is about a man (Peter Weller) trying to kill a rat in his house. The premise didn't really grab me if you couldn't figure that one out already, but the film works to an extent because of the over-the-top craziness.

I haven't seen this since I was a kid, but I remember it freaking me out a bit. Not a great movie, but there's just something compelling about watching Peter Weller chase a big-ass rat around his home while wielding a homemade mace.

I love this movie. It's one of the unsung horror films of the 80's. It's impressive how much tension they are able to wring out of such a simple premise.

I remember this movie, but I think it had another name - but i am not sure. A pretty solid movie all around.

'Mousehunt' was better...j/k.

...and when I first saw this on video it was titled 'The Visitor'.

I went blind in my left eye from watching HOTD. Trust me, stay away....
