ANything new from Darker scheduled on the horizon?

I like the older PKG stuff I've listened to (and have) and I really liked the first Darker CD I bought from that crazy Ampcast site. Is there anything new in the works Micah?

Nope. I took the Ampcast site down and everything. Solo music is the furthest thing from my mind at the moment.

I got the second Darker CD last week! Thanks very much for sending it, but it made me kind of sad. It's a great listen, but in the liner notes you are railing for people to create/do stuff if they can, yet you aren't making music anymore? What happened?

Nothing. I created 2 CDs, and an additional full score for a fellow Chewer's movie. I want to focus on making music with the new CHUD band for the moment. A rough mix of our first new song is up in the forum directly below this one. Don't be sad. I'll always be doing something creative. But it takes way too much energy to just keep cranking out Darker records by myself. I'm not saying there won't ever be another Darker album. It'll be awhile, tho.

To put it in perspective, Nick - who is way more prolific and productive than I am - is still working on finishing the last PKG and Lucky Nightsticks records despite each having begun a couple of years ago. And he's got the benefit of other musicians co-writing the songs and playing most of the instruments! Think about one guy doing all of that on his side time. Takes a lot out of you.

I agree, however. Hope it's not the last we hear of Darker. That's some good shite.

It's good to hear that you aren't giving up 100% on the Darker moniker. I dug the first two albums/sets of MP3's that I heard from Package, but I haven't gotten around to checking out any of the Lucky Nightsticks stuff or the newer PKG stuff. Any recommendations on where to start?
